Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk teamed up with Hog Wild Toys to introduce Tony Hawk’s Box Boarders, a brand new toy line that allows kids of all ages to easily land pro skateboarding tricks and film, edit and share videos of those tricks with the free Tony Hawk Box Boarders Studio App!

Levelhed Creative acted as a strategic partner with Hog Wild throughout the entire planning and execution phases of this brand launch. Levelhed oversaw content development, PR management, app development, and worked with Tony Hawk and his team to get approval on brand message and delivery.

The Levelhed team wrote all of the social media copywriting, designed and fulfilled the calendar schedule and presented the marketing strategy to key retail partners like Walmart and Target.

Levelhed also bought the media for the six-figure advertising campaign on YouTube and Instagram. Over a six-week period from February to March, over 30 pieces of creative video content were tested and optimized to maximize the ROI of the ad spend.

In total, the campaign garnered over 30MM views with an average 48% view rate, far outperforming the industry standard of 30% view rate.

Levelhed played a huge role in creating and filming all the video content for TVCs, YouTube ads, social media posts and app content.

Over the course of six months of preparation, Levelhed and Hog Wild launched Box Boarders in January, 2019 in an exclusive partnership with Walmart in 2500 Supercenters across the USA.

Box Boarders is now available in multiple languages all over the world, with major momentum leading up to the 2020 Olympics!
